Operator Training
All our operators have been fully trained and have been issued with the Construction Plant Competence Scheme card – operated and regulated by CITB - which is the main accepted proof of an operator's competence on a UK construction site.
In addition to driving and operating machinery, operators change buckets and other attachments, maintain equipment and carry out daily safety checks. At Lomond we want our operators to be the best they can be and believe our operators should be refreshed and trained on new issues and topics regularly. We have developed an in-house training course which covers a number of topics which have a day to day impact on their job which is rolled out bi-annually. Some of the topics covered are:

This training can be tailored to meet our client's requirements and safe systems of work.
In addition to in-house training and CPCS cards all our 360 operators have CPCS Lifting Operations category as standard.
